Vacation Part 2

We took the kids to play putt putt one evening and they loved it.  Braden made two hole in ones and Parker basically put his ball by the hole each time and knocked it in.  Several nights we went to get ice cream and of course we got family pictures of the beach.  It seems like it gets harder each year to take one picture where all five of us look decent at the same time!  It was a great week and really special since we got to spend it with not just our family of five, but my parents and grandparents also.  On Thursday of vacation, Braden got sick on the beach started running a fever.  He didn't want to go back to the condo, so he slept in a beach chair on the beach under the canopy.  He was pitiful.  Thankfully, it only lasted twenty four hours and he was able to enjoy our last day on the beach Friday.

Vacation 2013

The second week of July we headed back to our favorite vacation destination, Madeira Beach, FL.  It was a much needed break after the stress from Braden being in the hospital the week before.  The weather was awesome...much better than June of last year when Tropical Storm Debbie wrecked our week!  The kids had so much fun swimming, looking for shells, and using their boogie boards.  Emersyn wasn't just an observer this summer, like she was in October of last year.  She was all in the ocean and jumping into the pool!  She wanted to do whatever her big brothers were doing!

Vacation 2012

Last week we went on vacation to Madeira Beach, FL.  The kids and I went in June with my parents, but this time Brad was able to go and we were so excited!  The kids had a great time playing on the beach!  Even Emersyn was a trooper and loved the ocean!  Braden and Brad spent lots of time on the sandbar hunting for cool shells and sand dollars and Parker spent lots of time chasing seagulls!

A Trip to Oxford

Friday morning, my mom and I loaded the three kids into the packed down Expedition and set the GPS for our destination: Oxford, Mississippi aka the city where the cutest little redhead lives with the best brother and sister in law in the world.  To say we were excited was an understatement.  After a stop in Leeds, AL at the outlet mall and several stops to feed Emersyn, we finally arrived.  We were all ready to get out of the car and see Chad, Erica and Walker.  It was such a fun weekend and here are the highlights.
